Chapter 4: Rejection

After she was found, it became the talk of the village and how it came to be, but I hate what everyone is saying about her terribly. Like ‘that is what you get for being a human’. I could see and feel the hate coming from them. What was worse was when Juliet's parents and I demanded that the alpha get justice for Juliet. But he simply said “that it was the work of rogues and that we don’t have the manpower to go hunt them down for just one villager, especially since she isn’t a pack member”.

But we all knew what he really meant, and we got the message loud and clear that he wouldn’t endanger his precious pack members for a human girl that killed herself afterward. I can still remember the look on Juliet’s mum's face when we left. It was like there was no hope for justice in this world for her daughter. I even secretly went to the Luna to hear my plea, but even she couldn’t do anything with a sad look on her face.

It didn’t take long before Juliet’s mother went to the church to pray for Juliet’s soul and for her betrayal. Unfortunately for us, the church believes what Juliet did was a sin against god's will and love. So we can’t have her buried with others because her soul has become damned to hell.

After that, her parents and I decided that they would never be helped by the villagers, so we moved on to burying Juliet somewhere she loved to be. As the villagers didn’t want her buried anywhere near their ancestors. So we decided to bury her in our favorite spot on top of the hill where we felt the freest there. Looking out past the village to further lands where freedom is and where the sun sets a beautiful golden orange. Soon after the funeral, Juliet’s parents leave, saying nothing was left for them other than the gossiping villagers and their resentment towards the alpha and the pack.

So here we are back to where we started this tale as I open my eyes. Something has changed. It was like chains that were restraining me broke, and I am free. As I looked up at them, the hatred in their eyes brought forth a burning rage within me that even I had not realized I had suppressed for a long time. A strange power ran through my entire being. I looked at the beta and gamma with hateful eyes, anger. I knew I had to do something. And then it came out of nowhere. I pulled my arms forward and flung them both forward where they crashed into one of the stores behind me. As I got up on my feet, I felt that my body was moving on its own. As if someone else was controlling it like it wasn’t my body.

It was then I started to hear a voice “kill them”. It is a hate-filled voice “make them pay” for what they have done to me. Now the warriors of the pack and the bearing gamma charged at me, took hold of one of the warriors' arms and dislocated his shoulder and kicked him in the shin. Then the beta came at me when I crashed into one of the stores in the village and getting up on my feet felt painful. My body still continues moving on its own.

There was a brief moment of silence before the warriors of the pack and the bearing hammer charged at me. I took hold of one of the warriors' arms and dislocated his arm and kicked him in the head before he could move to attack me. Now the gamma came at me. I saw through him and, with a strong punch in the stomach strong it sent him flying through the woods.

I was surrounded after that by a group of warriors trying to charge at me like a beast. When I grabbed hold of the chains, I felt like my hands were warm and heat coursed through the chains. I could hear the painful cries of the warriors, then they began to drop like flies in pain. That they will do just a bit of what they had done to me and my friend. Then the strongest warriors appeared. He was one of those that was responsible for Juliet’s death. Hatred boiled over me. I ripped his d**k off with my bare hands and shoved it down his throat. Screams could be heard, but I don’t care how they look at me as I rip his legs and arms off one at a time. By the end, he was crying like a baby.

Before I moved my heart into his chest to pluck out his heart still beating, it had a magical glow in it and when I started playing pressure, and he was crying even more, wailing in pain, and I crashed his home run and then turned to dust instantly. He died and I was satisfied for once. Just after that, the Alpha and reinforcements came to see what the heck was going on. I said “I’ll come back to finish the rest and seek justice for me and Juliet”, proofed into a puff of smoke and was there at once.

On the hill, I fall on the spot near Juliet's grave as I feel a massive amount of pain coursing through my body as my bones break one after one and reshape. “ What, I thought I was a human, how is this even possible I'm turning’. The pain was becoming too much, my vision was starting to go. The world was starting to go black before I knew it. I could only see endless darkness. Then suddenly I felt like I was falling as my whole life flashed before me as I fell until the moment that brought me here slowed down till I hit the ground.

Light like the warm sun was what I first saw, then the ground turning into lush green grass with trees as tall turned alpha’s home. Then beautiful flowers started to sprout with every step I took as this place guided me to something or someone. Just as I started to walk to where this place was leading to, I saw a lake as if it was made of moonlight and in front of it was a person. I decided to run to see if they knew the way out of that place. Then I came face to face with a smile that was so warm and opening it reminded me of my grandmother. This is the same face she made for me every time I came home full of love.
