Present Day__
Ace made his way to the Magnetic train station. He had to make it back to his flat, which was in Sudet. He figured, now that he had the job here, he would finally be able to move with Harley to Vukovi. Harley would be thrilled to move to the 'big' city.
The entrance of the station scanned him. The station door slid open when it made sure that the elixir was used.
Good thing Harley made me take it, he thought.
'6,' the electronic voice alerted him. He now only had 6 Magnetic rides. He was going to recharge his ride balance later. He rode in one of the cubicles when it was his turn. Each cubicle was enough for 2 people only since the ride lasts 5 seconds at the most. A girl in her early teens sat next to him. She had jet black hair and crystal blue eyes. She gave Ace a wide smile. He gladly returned the favour.
Ace barely blinked twice before the train came to a stop. The girl got out first and made her way towards the north gate. Ace headed to the south gate. Luckily, the flat he shared with Harley was a walking distance from the station.
He made his way through the familiar streets. He saw a couple of hybrids messing with their kinks on the way. One boy was hung upside down using vines against a tree. Ace would've bet his life that one of Greens has done it. He couldn't help but laugh at how the boy yelped to be let down.
The laser scanned Ace before reluctantly letting him in the flat. He placed his devices on one of the counters and searched for Harley. He heard a woman's voice but didn't recognize it. It was coming from the sitting-room. The sound was coming from the wall screen. It was used as a TV in these modern days.
The whole wall was lit up and there was a woman, in fact, talking.

Harley had a shocked expression on her face. She looked at Ace and back at the screen. She couldn't believe what she was hearing, and neither could he. The woman smiled at the screen and her interviewers were shocked.
She was talking about hybrids.
