From where we sat, I could see that the picture in the programme, did no justice to the real thing. But as beautiful as it was, I saw no use for it, especially to the people here.
Well, unless there was a musician in our midst. Which was unlikely. Or probably someone who just wanted to add to his stash of unending collections. So far, they had sold a stool, an ugly gold comb, an antique mirror, and an embroidered handkerchief. Again with the damn handkerchief! Hah!
But it had been fun watching...with Theo cackling from beside me.
