Zoey opened that paper as soon as she saw him leaving, only to see a message from him saying
‘Boss will come back, and he won’t leave you even if you ask him to’.
Zoey rolls her eyes after reading that message and throws that paper in the nearby dust bin.
Even though those words were harsh, they gave her some comfort, like the words he said after he dropped her at the last meeting with Lorenzo.
No one expect that would happen on their first date.
