Zoey's POV:
I know he said he would be back in four days, but it’s been a week since he left. It doesn’t mean I miss him or something. It just lily miss him because he didn’t reply to any of her or my texts. We both didn’t know what had happened. At first, we thought he might be busy, but lily kept saying he would reply to her in the middle of the meeting.
This is why I didn’t want her to be this attached to him. I know he might have some reason, but he should have at least sent a single text or a single call to make sure he’s OK.
I can feel something might happen because of the tight security we have. Before Mr. Mafia left me and Lily to have a man to follow us, but now we have more than five men who are always with us whenever we go out.
It’s so odd.
