The first day Alvin looked at me, he didn't say word, he didn't need to but somehow that silence ruined my life _____Brielle amara Cole

A court room falls silent as Brielle a student in her final year wins a mock court trial with a brilliant argument , when suddenly she notices the unusual silence fell as a black Rolls Royce slops as every suddenly becomes quite a nervous as a man wearing a gray tailored suit streps out adjusted his glasses and looked at her for a slip second and then walks right pass her to the lawyer's office for the bail if one of his boys.brielle feels a little weird about his look but brushes it off ___and all her life she has been used to people staring at her often calling her names Including her landlord often because of her mixed race,but she had no idea that from that moment onwards the most feared man in Nigeria has become obsessed with the one woman who looked him in the eye without any trace of fear

As for Alvin he liked the fact that someone saw him as he was not as a beast, monster or devil as the rumors inclined ____he felt seen like an actual person,and all through the most of he meeting he was preoccupied with her in his head , staying completely dazed through out the meeting,but his happiness is cut short as the sound of his ringtone fills the room , looking at the screen a name pops up"Daisy"(his arranged finance)in which he keeps prosponing in the claim of busy business schedules.He gets visabily annoyed at her continuous calling so he excuses himself from the meeting leaving only his person assistant Charles.H.to continue the meeting with the lawyer

"Hi babe"Daisy sugary sweet voice came booming through the speaker phone "hi"as he mumbles a reply, Daisy continue s to talk "so I was checking up on You to know how you are doing,"he grunts "So I am asking you if you are going to be available for dinner tonight at my uncle's house for my cousins engagement dinner , and the guest list states to ring a plus one so I was hoping yo............."No"he said sharply cutting her off"I am very busy with a lot of work do" he hangs up,and just then Charles enters "sir the meeting is over"Alvin doesn't reply instead he looks out through the glass wall eyes locked on Brielle Charles follows his gaze "sir" he says then Alvin finally speaks"find out everything about that girl " Charles freezes "everything" he trembles slightly "everything,..........her name, where she lives, who she loves and who she fears"he says as his eyes never leaves Brielle . Charles swallows hard, trembling he replies " understood" he says lowering his gaze as Alvin buttons his suit jacket as he walks away behind him Charles whispers "God please help her".....
