CHAPTER 41
The Scar cargo ship swirled on its axis as it traveled through the gash in hyperspace. It materialized near the orbit of the planet Nirras and veered toward its surface.
The globe was completely covered with oceans, except for the lands that sporadically emerged from its surface. Islands more than continents, which stained the endless blue expanse of green, brown, and red.
Nemer leaned towards the cockpit window to observe the approaching planet. After crossing a thin layer of clouds, a large quadrangular island appeared, rich in hills and valleys.
Near the southern coast, an agglomeration of fungiform constructions flanked ancient ruins. The pyramids, once the most impressive things on the island, barely stood out through the stack of more recent structures.
