Projected by the setting sun, Nemer and G3EK’s shadows stretched out into the temple of Nirras.
The dense air was heavy with dust that moved as they passed through it. As Nemer crossed the threshold admiring the parted vault, she realized how the interior architecture was just as incredible as the exterior. Through the fracture, one could admire a clear sky that turned from red to indigo, as well as several stars that already glimmered while waiting for darkness to fall. At the center of the room, the two parts of the pyramid finally joined together through two colossal statues that depicted a man and a woman about to touch, creating a roof for the throne below.
When Nemer looked down, she was surprised to see that the blackstone throne was occupied by someone.
