CHAPTER 16
The tall man with a beard and evil eyes shattered the metal doors and entered the place where I lived. In an instant, he killed those who took care of me and came closer, cautious, hesitating. He scared me, but maybe he was also scared. Then two women ran inside, confronted him, and saved me.
They took me away from that world made of rooms and hallways and into a new, beautiful one made up of light and plants, of little creatures full of life. I too was little, but I was also powerful. If I so wished, I could move anything, from the tiniest speck of dust to the tallest building. Whenever I did, those women looked at me, surprised... or were they scared?
The tallest one was cold to me, but the shorter one, with big eyes that seemed to see everything, she was kind.
