THEODORE My office door opened and I looked up, hoping it would be Alice, but it was just f*****g Felix. I suppressed the urge to groan as he approached my desk. Seeing his face so early in the morning sickened me. My cousin and I never got along. Not once. “This is madness, Theo!” he complained. “What kind of employees do you have running this place? It’s a circus! Look at my f*****g phone!” I leaned backward so my back was resting against the chair. “Is this supposed to make any sense to me?” He grabbed a seat directly across from me even though I didn’t ask him to sit down. In all truth, I didn’t even know what he was doing here. “An employee of yours rammed into me and didn’t even apologize! I told her I owned the place and she didn’t seem to care. I fired her. You’re welcome.”
