CHAPTER:1

Mabel works in the “ Queens Department Store “ just as James, her co-worker.

James felt like Mabel always needed help so he promised to be there for her.

His colleagues gossip about how he is always helping Mabel out in doing some work in the company.

Mabel always receives a quarry from the manager, because of her careless attitude.

James assured Mabel not to worry because should incase she get fired from work he has enough to take very good care of himself and her. Mabel fell for his advances and that's how their love story begins.

Time flies and James finds out that Mabel is the chairman's granddaughter. He was devastated,so he ghosted her for a while. But because of the love she had for him she went looking for him in his village.

James and Mabel got married and they live together in the Queens family house.

Day's turn to week,weeks turn to months and Mabel gets pregnant.

James was very happy to hear the news from their family doctor and even Mabel can't believe that she would soon be called mom,immediately James and Mabel arrange the baby's room, buy baby items.

Mabel told her husband James that she would like to give birth to a male child but James said he wants a female child.

Weeks later the unfortunate thing happened, Mabel had a miscarriage

James was annoyed with the news of his wife's miscarriage,so he tried to talk and comfort his wife but to his utmost surprise her reaction towards him was wild. James couldn't control his anger so he packed his belongings to the visitors room.

Mabel couldn't control her tears,so she comforted herself by being devoted to work. Because of her hard work the chairman, who is her grandfather, assigned her as the new CEO of Queens Department Store.

James was also assigned as the director of Queens Department Store. The two love birds became total strangers not only in their place of work but also at home.

Their marriage is now affected by the influence of misunderstanding, and also faced deeper complications, tangled in love and resentment.

James couldn't help but wonder what to do with a narcissistic wife.

James finally decided to divorce Mabel but he doesn't know how to approach her with the new decision of his.

James had no choice but to man up and confront Mabel,so he went to her room.Mabel I have something to tell you okay I also have something to tell you says Mabel.

Okay then you go first says James since he insisted Mabel agreed to start first.

I went to the doctor today and what the doctor said asked James “she said I have three months left for me after that I will die”. James looked worried and asked her why and she said “I have a brain tumor in my own case. It can't be treated nor undergo surgery”, but deep down he was happy that he will finally leave the Queens family house without being haunted by her family members.

You have something to tell me, remember Mabel declares,ye…..ye…..yes I think is not important right now just want to tell you that I am sorry for all the wrong I did until now it won't happen ever again,and I’ll treat you better from now on. How will I live my life without you in it? You said you have three months to live, said James in tears,he said I love you and he hugged Mabel,you said you can't live without me, asked Mabel,James replied yes;okay will you die together with me! He was shocked to hear that from her.

I didn't mean I was certain that I couldn't live without you.

James went back to his room very happy and he said to himself it is just three months so I will endure all the frustrations and humiliation from Mabel and family,then after the three months I will be allowed to leave the Queens family house in peace.

On Researching on the disease he found that miracles do happen,people with the disease can possibly live for fifty years….

Mabel heading to the office the next morning,all of the sudden I saw myself in another place “my pants covered in with mud”there I felt alone,tears rolled down my cheeks, scared all I could whisper within me was “James I need you”my view became blur and I was passing out and I felt a strong grip on my waist holding me,so not to fall then I heard his thick,arousing ,gentle and sweet voice

Before I became unconscious. ‘What am I doing here? 'said Mabel’ u passed out in your office.

What is wrong with me? I have always be careful all the days of my life,I don't smoke or drink alcohol since when I was born,I do check myself, eat healthy food and also watch my breathing if there's no oxygen concentrator. Even people who smoke and drink alcohol and also don't mind taking good care of their health eating whatever they want aren't subjected to this disease.Why me? James asked her to calm down, how about we go to the hospital tomorrow and check again, what for?we need to be sure,what do I do if it's a misdiagnosis.what will you do if it's a misdiagnosis? I’d be ecstatic. So let's go and reconfirm everything,you are at the edge right now; forget about everything and rest up . Do you think I will be able to sleep? Right. I don't think I’d be able to sleep tonight, because I'm shocked too.I know I am sick but I can't just die like that, says Mabel.

Let me warn you, you're the only one who knows about my illness,so if anyone else finds out it's your fault. But will you keep it a secret forever? “Yes” declares Mabel.
