~ Abi ~   “Mrs. Green! Wake up, Abi!” “Thank God she didn’t fall down the stairs…” “Get Dr. Trevelyan on the phone. Abi!” Someone’s shaking me, tapping my face. I’m limp again, and the effort to push them away is weak. “Benches and cake,” I mumble. “Open your eyes, Mrs. Green.” That’s Taylor. Definitely Taylor. I squint, opening one eye cautiously, and then the other.
