Without even hesitating, the wolves ran towards Precious and began to attack. Precious fought back well. She quickly killed three wolves that charged at her without much thought. Then, she ripped the throat out of two more. Next, she took a huge chunk of another's shoulder as it ran away from her, another she bit his right hind leg clean off. After that, Precious bit another in the neck and killed him.
This brief distraction helped the two last rogues to tear open my wolf's side. Precious and I were pissed as soon as we felt the pain. "I can heal us. Just buy me some time." demanded Precious to me.
