My warriors had strict orders not to let Luna Tandy out of her Luna suite no matter what and not to open my gates to anyone. Plus, my men had already alerted me that Elder Kylian was ten minutes out. Therefore, I just needed to stall them until his arrival.
Beta Kenneth and I both shook our heads in disbelief at all the drama that Luna Tandy delivered to our front door. We have an extremely peaceful pack. We have not had any rogue problems in over seventy-five years. Trust me, it wasn't lost on me that very few people liked my fate mate and that didn't include my Beta. I know he tolerates her for my sake.
