I hurriedly ate my food and went into the bathroom and changed into black jeans. I took off the yellow jacket. I left on my wig, sunglasses, baseball cap and I switched glasses to a more nerdy pair. Then, I checked the mirror to make sure I looked presentable and I paid my bill. After that, I quickly left. I didn't want to stick around long enough to draw attention to myself.
The cloudy morning brought the black-top streets to dappled hues that spoke of soulful blues. I thought to myself as I followed her instructions.
After a nice long walk, I arrived at the bus station. It seemed Cherry was working because Old Man Kirk's wife wasn't feeling well and needed to go to the doctors. Seems I am currently in Glenwood, Wyoming, a bordertown between South Dakota.
