The plot

It all started in an ancient kingdom in the times of the existence of magic and witches, there lived a king, called king Maza , the leader of Haza kingdom. King Maza was a successful king, loved by all and cherished by many. This prompted many to be envious of his position and make threats to dethrone him or even kill him on other to have the kingdom and riches.

"nobody is going to divide my kingdom, not while I'm alive" King Haza said bewildered in the presence of his Royal cabinets. There has been an ongoing plot to dethrone him as rumor had it about several secret meetings held outside the kingdom to divide the kindgom or dethrone him.

"My Lord, you do not have to worry about what people say" Queen sheeba said in a low romantic tone but looking at him with resentment.

"I will not let anyone put an end to all I have built all these years" he heeves a heavy sigh of relief as he stretches out his hand to receive a glass of wine from the queen.

The kindgom has been thrown in a great turmoil by the queen, who has been looking for a way to eliminate the king and take the throne all to herself. She had formed an alliance with an enemy kingdom and has been practicing some dark magic to cover her tracks and execute her plans.

"I want the kingdom to be on a lockdown from now on and every gathering should be reported to me immediately" The king ordered his chief guard and commander.

Edward was a tall , well built soldier whose loyalty to the royal throne is unquestionable. He has served the king and royal throne after his father and his father before him. This was as an appreciation for being taken in by the royal family when they came into the kingdom running for their lives.

"My Lord, I think you should reconsider this, the kindgom cannot be on lockdown because of a mere rumor" the queen said rubbing her hands on the black ring on her left finger. This is a magic ring with which she had been using to manipulate the king and his judgements to sway things in her favor.

"Oh I think you're right. Very well , double the guards on the night's watch " The king commanded as he looks lost and confused.

"Yes my Lord" , Edward said as he rose from the ground and dashed out with his men.

The queen has scheduled her final meeting where she intends to strike hard and overthrow the king. She has been forming an alliance with the king's brother Julian, who she promised to vouch and present as the king once the king was out of the way. Together with the leader of the enemy kingdom, king Jetta, they agreed to strike in 2 days time when the king would be dedicating her second daughter, princess Christine. Christine's mother died shortly after giving birth and it was a great loss to the kindgom as she was so kind and full of wisdom. The kingdom would be expected to be in a state of merrymaking and lay down their guard. The plan was to m******e the Royal family and anyone who would stand as a future threat to their selfish ambitions. The kingdom was to be divided and some parts given to king Jetta for his contribution.

"I have doubts about this" Julian said with great concern.

"Oh, don't be a child. Is this how you intend to rule the kingdom?" The queen asked in great disappointment.

"My friend, being a king and leader requires a lot of sacrifices. You have to be ready to make difficult choices for the greater good". King Jetta said tapping the shoulders of Julian.

"He's still my brother and secondly he has a great percentage of the kindgom on his side" Julian replied with hazy eyes.

"And that is where I come in. I have skilled warriors and swordsman and we're going to attack when he least expected us. There's absolutely nothing to worry about my friend. Think about what you will be gaining after this" king Jetta assured him again as he waves his soldiers to prepare his Chariot for departure.

The queen having grown frustrated with Julian's cowardliness and reluctance as she saw it, storms out of the meeting room even before any of them could say a word. She angrily climbed her horse and headed back to the kingdom with her soldiers.
