The take over

King Jetta was rather a mean and gruesome king unlike his counterpart, king Maza. His subjects were so afraid as he cared less about their lives and well being unless it could get him more riches. As rich as he was, he was taking food and money from the poor careless of whether they had what to sustain them or not. He had special interest in the Maza kingdom as the queen had made him an offer he never imagined. An offer that would make him three times richer than he was.

"Tomorrow, we strike at the king's party celebration, everything should go according to plan. When the insiders gives the side, we storm the place immediately." King Jetta said as he addresses his Crew.

"The king's mine, no one touches the king buy I. I must surely make him understand how I feel" the queen said with a very mean face. She's been longing for this moment to tear the king apart and claim the riches all to herself.

They made their final preparation for the attack the following night and dispersed.

The queen arrived at the usual time in the palace, unknown to her, Edward followed her as he has been worried about her suspicious movements. She felt she was followed but Edward was clever enough to cover his tracks. Before she came into the palace, Edward was already in the palace. He went straight to the king to tell him about his findings but the king disregarded his information and was infuriated that he was accusing the queen for being a traitor.

"Do you understand you could be hanged for making such allocations, son". The king roared and immediately, the queen entered.

"What troubles you my king" the queen asked as he looks down on Edward in a threatening manner.

"Nothing to worry about my queen, Edward was just leaving, isn't that right Edward?" The king asked as he sought to protect Edward from the wrath of his wife. There's been several cases of the queen dealing with everyone that gets on her nerves and even going to the extent of having them beheaded or barnished.

Edward stood up immediately and walked out of the thrones room. He knew it would have to be only him if at all the kindgom had any hope for survival. He quickly took some soldiers with him and placed them at some strategic points. They were focused on creating an exit route in case of the occurance of any danger.

The party was about to start, music can be heard from the large room and everyone was seen either chatting with one another or dancing. It was a cool evening and the weather was perfect for a party befitting the king's precious daughter. The soldiers were at the entrance and some at watch out above the large hall to observe all the happenings in the hall. The queen had quickly returned to the palace to avoid being suspected as Edward had already developed worries concerning the Queen's recent strange movements.

Then enters the king and his Royal cabinets. Everyone rose and greeted as the music stops.

"Long live the king" the people greeted in unison as the king waved them back. He stood to address the people.

" Today's a special day in my life and of course in the great kingdom of Maza. We all know the circumstances surrounding the death of my beautiful daughter and it is only befitting that everyone comes together to merry and be Happy that she has come into this great kindgom. May her birth bring joy and happiness to our kingdom and may we live to see many beautiful things and positive turn around of things for the good of our land. To princess Christine" he finalises as he raised his glass of wine.The queen was so fond of the newly born princess as she was his favorite. He loved her so much and wanted the best life for her.

"To princess Christine'' the eager crowd responded as they raised their glasses as well.

"Let the party continue". The king said and just as he was about to sit down, the door was forcefully burst open and a fierce fight began between the soldiers and the Invaders.

" That is so bad of you to host such big a party without inviting your old friend" king Jetta said in an uncanny voice.

"How dare you barge into my home like a wild dog" king Haza roared rather enraged and angry.

"Oh, I've come to pay my homage and celebrate with you. Seize them!". He ordered his soldiers. As his soldiers made their way to the king, they met a fierce resistance from the king's guards.

"Protect the king!" . Edward shouted as he carried little princess Christine with him. He took with him some soldiers as he led the queen, the king and the two princesses to an emergency exit away from the heated fight and danger. They got to the point of escape but the queen and the king's brother turned on them with some soldiers who were on her side. She attacked the king from behind and he fell to the ground. Edward and the soldiers fought so hard but was subdued,the king seeing that he would lose his two daughters as well ordered Edward to save them and forget about him.

"Edward!, Go!. Save my daughters". The king ordered in a dying voice.

Edward escaped with princess Ariella and princess Christine.

"You will never know no peace, I curse you today" the king said as he gave up the ghost. The queen laughed so hard as she bends over him.

"The kindgom is mine and there's nothing you or anyone elses can do about it. As for your little children, I will get them. There's nowhere left for them to run." She laughs as she returns to the party room.

King Jetta and his soldiers were already jubilating and singing songs of victory.

"Today, a new era and government has begin. I am your new king and you shall obey me. Anyone who refuses to obey and follow my rule shall be cast out and all he has will be taken from him. Now, bow down to me".

She roars as she puts the royal crown on her head. Everyone bowed down and shouted.

"Long live the queen".

Thus the kingdom was thrown in a great state of peril and hardship as the queen made life so difficult for everyone that many had to leave the kingdom in search of peace and Life. Anyone who would not obey her was often killed or amputated. she practiced dark magic in other to exert her will on whomever she pleases and turn everything to her favor.
