Jayden stared at her, his eyes glistening like a wounded puppy's. "Why?" Vivian looked into his unwilling gaze and said flatly, "No reason. I just don't feel it anymore. Is that not allowed?" Jayden was quiet for a few seconds, then frowned as if something clicked. "Is it because of Uncle Derek?" Vivian pulled her hand free and chose her words carefully. "Yes. If I'd known you were connected to the Hayes family, I never would have gotten involved with you in the first place." His voice trembled slightly. "Are you...?" The implication hit him fast. Since she'd already dropped the breakup, Vivian saw no point in hiding anymore. She turned to leave. "So don't contact me again. I don't want anything to do with any of you." At least Jayden didn't follow her. She wasn't Cecilia anymore
