The Training Begins

*Chapter 8: The Training Begins* Crystal's training began immediately, with the Luminari's leaders pushing her to her limits. She was taught how to control her power, how to harness the light within her and channel it into a force that could defeat the darkness. The days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months. Crystal trained tirelessly, her body aching and her mind exhausted. But she refused to give up, driven by a determination to fulfill the prophecy and save the world. Masterpiece was by her side throughout, guiding her and supporting her as she struggled to master her power. He was a patient teacher, and Crystal was a willing student, and together they made great progress. But despite their progress, Crystal couldn't shake the feeling that time was running out. The darkness was growing stronger, and she was still not ready to face it. One night, as she was meditating in her room, Crystal received a visit from Aria. The woman's eyes were troubled, and her usual calm demeanor was shaken. "Crystal, I need to show you something," she said, her voice low and urgent. "Come with me." Crystal followed Aria to a hidden room deep beneath the Luminari's stronghold. The room was filled with ancient artifacts and strange devices, and Aria led her to a large, ornate mirror. "Look into the mirror, Crystal," Aria said, her voice barely above a whisper. "See what the darkness has in store for us." Crystal hesitated, unsure of what she would see. But something about Aria's words compelled her to look. As she gazed into the mirror, a vision appeared. Crystal saw a world in ruins, the sky blackened and the earth scorched. The darkness had won, and the world was plunged into eternal night. But that was not all. Crystal saw herself, standing on a hill overlooking the ruins. She was surrounded by darkness, and her eyes were glowing with an otherworldly light. "You are the key to the darkness's power," Aria said, her voice trembling. "If you don't stop it, the world will be destroyed." Crystal's heart was racing, her mind reeling with fear and uncertainty. What did it mean? Was she destined to become a tool of the darkness? She looked up at Aria, her eyes searching for answers. But Aria's expression was grim, and she knew that she had to find the answers on her own. As Crystal stood there, frozen in uncertainty, the mirror's surface rippled and distorted. A figure emerged from the shadows, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. "Adrian," Crystal whispered, her heart pounding with fear. The vision faded, and Crystal was left standing in the hidden room, her heart racing and her mind reeling with fear. What did it mean? And what was she going to do about it? Aria's eyes were troubled, her expression grim. "We need to tell Masterpiece," she said, her voice low and urgent. "Now."
