I hadn't felt like this in a long time. Like all the problems in the world just faded away and all that was left was peace.
Aidan asked us if we wanted to eat, and even if Nadia hadn't been the first to oblige, I didn't think I was going to object.
After being gifted a full trunk of gifts, we had a fun evening with Aidan, and when Nadia's strength reserve started to run low, we took her back home to Esme's where both she and Jenna were waiting. Too bad Nadia would be out in a couple of hours, and movie night would be just for Esme and Jenna.
"So this errand you're running, am I allowed in on what it is?" Aidan asked as he steered the wheel past the houses. We were heading away from our home now.
