Unknowingly, I race forward sliding on my knees just in time catching Dimitri as he slumps on my thighs.
He was in severe pain,
"Hey Hailey Stewart's you like spy… spying don't you" he jokes every word taking a lot of effort to say, his body shudders underneath me. I touch the side of his hard face softly as a way of comfort, laughing sadly as tears that I wasn't aware of fell dropping on his hair.
"Someone get a damn doctor!" I yelled to no one in particular.
"It's just a damn cut, he's a man he can take care of himself" Jaden said, emotionless , unfazed by what he had done.
I bite the inside of my cheeks concealing the vile words I wanted to say to him. He was Alpha and I a slave who wasn't supposed to be here to begin with.
