Teacher Be Mine

Chapter 9

Veronica's POV.

"Hurry up!" Justine said.

"Okay, okay! We're going baby. Relax!" Sammie said.

Sammie and I were finishing up our next prank. About 4 months ago, Alex had been dating a football player to cover up the fact that she was gay. Mariah's cousin was pregnant and had just gotten her ultra sound done, and she let us copy the picture. We hung the copies up around school and had written 'little Alexandra Anderson!' on it in white crayon. Then we had decorated Alex's locker with baby toys and clothes. All green and yellow.

On Alex's desk in homeroom, we had out 2 baby dolls. One in pink the other in blue. Then we put streamers around her desk. We had even gotten her pacifiers and bottles. They were inside her locker with a small pack of diapers and some formula. Alex had a thing with teenage mothers. She said they were wasting their lives. She even made fun of a couple of girls who were forced into it. And even after they told her their stories, she still didn't feel bad.

Well, now it's her turn! We ran and hid in the bathrooms again. I made sure to tell Justin to take his hoodie of first. We walked out about 10 minutes later and went to my locker. We already had our stuff but we wanted to see Alex. Finally she walked in. She stopped when she seen her locker. She opened it and seen the gifts we have her. Then she started to cry. We all walked to class, only to find kids surrounding Alex's locker.

"What's going on?" I asked. Had to play innocent.

"Did you see Alex's locker?" Caleb asked.

"Yeah. That's horrible. Is she really pregnant?" I asked.

"I don't think so. But they got her desk to." A bunch of the kids moved so we could see.

"Oh wow! They s don't play!" Justin said.

"Take your seats!" Miss Rivers yelled.

Oh man, was she pissed! Everyone ran to sit down. Miss Rivers looked at Alex's desk and her jaw dropped. Alex walked in, only to stop yet again when she seen her desk.

"Anyone see who did it this time?" Miss Rivers asked, annoyed.

"No ma'am." We said. Not that anyone would tell anyway. They were all terrified. And it was only Tuesday.

She sighed, "Alex honey-" did she just call her honey?! Oh hell no! "Just throw away the streamers and put the dolls in the back of the room. Okay guys. Remember to wear white tomorrow! I'm not sure why though. Oh and we're going on a fuels trip Thursday. So Veronica will pass out the permission slips. I need them by the end of he day tomorrow. And make sure to brim money on the trip."

I started to pass out the permission slips. I grinned when my friends looked at me and gave a small mod to the question behind their eyes. I handed Alex her slip and she stuck her foot out and tripped me.

"What the hell was that for, Double b***h?!" I yelled.

"What? I didn't do anything!" Alex yelled back.

"Your so full of s**t!" I yelled.

"Girls! What's going on?" Miss Rivers yelled.

"Alex tripped me!" I said.

"She's lying!" Alex screamed.

"Outside now! Both of you! Mariah, can you finish handing those out?" Miss Rivers said.

Mariah walked over and took the slips from me. She smiles and mouthed 'good luck'. I gave her a nod and mouthed ' thanks'. I seen Sammie getting up and shook my head no. I walked out and closed the door behind me.

Katie's POV.

I don't want to scold my baby this early. God those two need to stop.

"Okay. I want both sides of the story. Veronica go ahead." I said.

"I gave Alex her permission slip and went to walk away, but she tripped me. I asked her why she did it and she flipped out." Veronica said.

"Okay. Sweetie. Alex. Go ahead." I said.

"Well first of all, she's lying. She gave me my paper and then made herself fall. Then she blamed me." Alex said with a shrug.

Okay. That's hard to believe. The door opened behind me. I looked over to see the two kids I know I can trust. Caleb and Justine.

"You okay, Veronica?" Justine asked my poor baby. Veronica nodded.

"Why'd you trip her Alex?" Caleb asked.

I knew her story was a lie.

"Alex. I'll give you a warning. Next time it's detention." I said.

The bell rang and they ran into the room to get their things. Yay! A whole hour with Veronica and Alex. Now Veronica is my baby. I can handle her. But Alex, I want to slap sometimes.

The Next Day.......

Veronica's POV.

"Bye mom! I love you!" I yelled, running outside.

Sammie's mom was bringing us to school today. They were already outside waiting for me. I was free of my little fan for the day. She was going to visit her grandmother or something. I jumped in the car and sat next to Justine.

"Hey guys! Everyone wearing white?" I asked. I was wearing black.

"Nope! I'm wearing black!" Sammie said.

"Same." The twins and I said.

We all laughed and talked the rest of the way there. Finally Sam pulled up to the school. "Bye kids! Have fun!" She said.

We all made sure our hoods were up then walked in looking down. We walked to Alex's locker and I put in her combination. Alex had posted on f*******: last night! That she was wearing her favorite white shirt. She may or may not have said that it was brand new that made this even more fun.

"Water bottle." I said. Sammie opened it and gave to me. "Kool-aid packets."

Justine handed them to me after she had opened them. They were the single packets. One was cherry and the other was grape. Justin helped me bold them in place while Sammie tied a string to the water bottle and Justine tapped the Kool-aid in place. I put the bottle on a shelf and held it there while Sammie tied it to her locker the. I made sure the camera was on before we closed it.

"'Devil Spawns' huh?" A soft voice said from behind us. We froze. Wait. I k ow that voice. Oh god! Why her?! "You can turn around. I already knew it was you. I also know that Veronica is the ring leader. And I'm not turning you in."

We turned around, "Y-Your not?" I asked.

"Of course not. You never seen me and I never seen you. Alright?" Miss Rivers smiled.

"Alright. Thanks Miss Rivers!" Sammie said.

"No problem guys." She replied, eyeing me. "But get out of here. The kids will be coming in any minute now." With that said, she walked away again.

We ripped our hoodies of and shoved them in our bags then ran around a corner. When the hallway was filled we walked to my locker.

"Here she comes." Justin said.

We glanced over them went back to 'minding our own business'. Alex was at her locker and by now, almost everyone in the hallway was looking at her. She wasn't wearing a jacket so her shirt would defiantly get it. She put we combination in and opened her locker. Alex's scream could have caused and earthquake. Laughter filled the hallway and we looked over. She had turned around to walk away. Her shirt was very pretty and non white. Well in most spots anyways. After she left, Justine ran over and grabbed my camera and gave it to me. I put it in my bag after stopping it. One more 'baby' prank to go before the big bang. It's going to be fan-f*****g-tastic. Why can't it just be Friday already?
