Chapter 15

Veronica's POV.

I woke up to the delicious smell of bacon. Bacon! I ran down the stairs only to remember I was with my baby and my hair was a mess and I had morning breath. I turned around only to come face to face with Katie.

"Good morning beautiful." Katie sang.

"Morning." I said, running my hands through my hair. Not realizing the song at first.

"How was your night?" She continued.

I grinned, "Mine was wonderful, with you by my side."

Katie smiled and lent in to kiss me I jumped back and threw my hands in front of my mouth.

"What's wrong baby?" She asked.

"Morning breath!" I said.

"Oh pleaseee!" She grabbed me and kissed me.

I pouted when she pulled back, "Meanie."

"Yes. I'm so mean. Now go take a shower. You stink." She said.

"Hey!" I yelled but she only laughed an walked away.

I ran upstairs and took a quick shower and brushed my teeth. After I was done, I walked into the kitchen. Katie was putting food on plates.

"Bacon!" I yelled, running out to the dinning room and sitting at the table.

"Yes. Bacon. What is it with foods that start with 'B'?" Katie asked.

"I don't know. But I do know I love you." I said.

"Awww. I love you to baby girl." She kissed my forehead.

After breakfast we went out into the living room to talk and watch tv. Can you guess what was on? No. Not 'Lake Placid'. It was #2!

"Why do you low lake placid so much?" Katie asked.

"I don't know. I love alligators! And sharks. And killer whales. Oh my god! I LOVE 'Free Willy'! Almost as much as lake placid." I told her, getting excited.

She laughed, "Cute. Now I know what to get you for your birthday."

"You know my birthday?" I asked.

"Yep."

"When is it then?"

"February 14. Explains why your so lovable."

"When's yours?"

"February 15."

"Seriously?"

"Seriously."

"That is wicked awesome! So your only 3 years and a day older than me?"

"I guess so. I don't know. That's why I don't teach math. Anyway. What are you being for Halloween?"

"What makes you think I'm going out?"

"Because I have a feeling the 'Devil Spawns' are coming out to play."

"Oh. Yeah. I'm going to be a vampire. Faith is going to be a dead body. She really likes doing that."

"I could come do your makeup for you."

"Yeah! That'd be awesome!"

There was a knock on the door and Katie went to get it. I got up to get a drink.

"Alex! What are you doing here?" Katie asked, surprised.

That b***h!!

"I needed help with the homework. My mom said that I could come ask you. Allison told me where you lived." Alex answered.

Bitch 1 and b***h 2, your going down.

She seen me and raised an eyebrow. s**t! s**t!! s**t!!! Katie looked over her shoulder ad seen me. She gave me a look that said she was not happy. Oops.

"Oh. Yeah. Come in. Actually Veronica's mom sent her over to. We can do a study group thing."

What...... The...... Hell babe?!?!?it was supposed to be a special weekend and she's going to let Alex ruin it?! Was she serious?! We walked into the living room and Alex shoved me so she could sit next to Katie, who didn't notice. But Katie sat in her recliner across from her. I bit back a laugh and sat down on Katie's love seat. Alex was pissed that she didn't get to sit next to Katie but she calmed down when Katie started to ask her questions. I was pissed to. Not only because Alex came over but because Katie had told me she would give me the answers to the homework. Why Alex?!? Why?!
