Lisanna
"All of this is reminding me of this show I had watched earlier." I say, was it thirteen reasons why?
"God damn it Lisanna let me finish my sentence." Xander states as I roll my eyes.
"Asher's the reason why Luca is all moody and shit."
That was it? This is what I've been wanting to know? Some petty argument between Asher and Luca.
Interesting.
Sarcasm is amazing, right?
"Oh, I'm shook, that's the best news I've heard all day." I say sarcastically.
"If you'd let me continue, you would know the reason why." Xander says, I could sense the impatience in his voice.
"Carry on my friend."
"One day, Luca's sister was in the need of blood, Asher had the same blood type as his sister Allison: Luca had asked Asher to give some of his blood to his sister, if Asher doesn't give it Allison dies." Xander pauses before taking a long sigh.
I clutch my phone tighter, it was getting really cold.
"But when Luca had asked Asher, Asher simply said no, he said that it's better off if she dies."
My breath hitched, what the hell? Is Asher that cruel?
"That was it, Luca's sister had died, the doctors said that it would be too late to find a person with the same blood as Allison, Asher was the last resort."
The very Asher I was friends with? The very one who would give up anything for anyone, anyone he loves.
He didn't give his blood to a dying girl.
"Oh." I had no words, I was speechless.
"Do you want s**t on Melody?" Xander enquiries.
"No, not today, maybe later?" I say, cutting the line.
Oh Asher, how could you?
;
I walk into school, Yuki was standing beside my locker casually eating. I keep a straight face, I can't help but to feel sorry for Luca. I had ditched him yesterday.
Asher could've saved Luca's sister.
But he didn't.
How is he smiling? Living life knowing the fact he could've saved someone's life but he didn't.
"What's up with you?" Yuki asks, I frown looking at Asher walk into the school with a huge grin.
"Nothing." I fake smile.
Yuki's phone starts to ring, she smiles looking at the caller id.
It was Xander.
"Uh I'll see you later." She smiles brightly before she walks away.
"Diaz." It was Zane.
"Lisanna." I mumble.
I look up to face Zane, his scent never fails to surprise me.
He smells amazing.
"You look sad." He says, keeping a straight face.
"It's school, of course I'll be looking sad."
"Usually you have a blank face, today you're just sad, you alright there Diaz?"
"I'm fine." I simply say, he doesn't let my response fool him as he slightly frowns.
"When a girl says that, she's really not fine, well that's what I think." He says before leaning on the locker beside me.
"I'm not fine." I suddenly say.
"When you feel like that, you just take a deep breath and say f**k it." Zane states.
"You're actually really blunt." I look at him before laughing.
"It's the way you deal with life, ignore the s**t that tries bringing you down." He says before he stood up straight.
"Luca." He nods his head at Luca who seems to be walking towards me.
"Where were you?" He asks me.
"You mean yesterday after you ditched me?" I look at him with a stern look.
"Yes, yesterday." He keeps a blank face.
"Did you have fun dancing, with the girl in the bright dress?" I say, Luca frowns.
"That was my cousin."
Well then.
"Awkward." Zane says making the situation worse.
"Who dropped you home?" Luca enquires.
"Zane."
Luca walks off without a word.
"I'll see you later." Zane says, as he walks towards the direction Luca had walked off to.
;
Zane
Luca is some emotional boy, walking off like that. I roll my eyes as I walk after him.
I watch as he punched a locker with such force.
"I'm so stupid." He mutters, he runs his hand through his hair.
"You alright?" I look at him.
He glares at me before taking a long sigh.
"I'm alright." He says, but before he walked off I heard a few words.
"But you won't be."
