Chapter Seven

Lisanna

After English Literature, that awkward encounter with Asher was still in my head. He can't be doing this now, apologising so quickly, I wasn't used to it. I was used to no apologies. I don't like the fact that he gave up so easily, the fact that he seems to be apologetic.

Is he lying?

I don't think so, seven years of friendship, why would he lie? He can't be lying. I watched as Asher walked out of the classroom, talking to his friend Mason.

"Asher!" I shout as Asher says a few words to Mason before he turns around, he hugs me. Surprising me.

"God I missed you." He mumbles, I was honestly baffled right now.

"I guess I was being a bit bitchy." I mutter as he tightens his hold on me, damn guy.

"I f****d up." Asher says.

"Melody, out of all girls." I exclaim as Asher releases me from his tightening death grip.

"I-I just had to." He stammers, am I missing something?

"Asher, what's wrong?" I ask him confused.

"Nothing, I've been through a lot lately, Mom divorced Dad." He says quietly looking almost crestfallen.

"Melody has been helping me, you know to deal with all this family drama because she has been through the same, then she asked me out: I guess I owed her my life at that very moment." Asher face palms.

"Seriously, why didn't you ask me?" I enquire slightly annoyed by the fact he told Melody out of all people.

"I just couldn't Liz." He mumbles as I smile at his nickname for me.

I look behind Asher to find Luca looking at me with a smirk, what the hell is he thinking?

I felt my phone vibrate, I grab my phone out of my pocket and read the message.

Look outside - Luca.

How did he get my number?

I furrowed my eyebrows as Luca had a smug look.

"Asher, I'll see you later." I say quickly leaving Asher behind as I walk rapidly outside of the school.

My heart was pounding fast, he couldn't, I mean touch my motorcycle?

Instead of looking for a vandalised motorcycle I found a group of students smiling at me.

A girl got out from the crowd handing me a basket.

"Congratulations you're pregnant!" The girl says as my jaw drops.

Another girl walks towards me with two boxes.

"We decided to throw you a baby shower outside our beautiful school." She cheerfully says.

Luca told people I was pregnant?

Oh my God.

"I'm not pregnant." I snap at the students, they look at me before chuckling loudly.

"Don't worry, don't be embarrassed you'll get through this." A guy pats my back.

I clench my fists as Luca walks outside the school with a proud smirk.

"B-But I'm n-" I stammer.

"b***h, you're pregnant and you didn't even tell me." Yuki exclaims as I felt overwhelmed.

"Bu-"

"Congrats Lisanna!" Xander says as he wraps his arms around Yuki who pushes his arms off her immediately.

"IM NOT PREGNANT FOR GOODNESS SAKES." I exclaim before walking towards Luca.

"This d**k lies." I say shoving him before walking towards my motorcycle.

I look at my motorcycle which was now pink.

"LUCA." I yell, he walks towards me, pride was evident in his body gestures.

"Enjoy your ride, Lisanna." He says before patting my back gently.

I glare at him, "what is wrong with you?" I snap as he shrugs his shoulders.

"As they say, revenge is sweet, darling watch your back." he smirks before walking towards his motorcycle.
