“Goodbye Leonardo, I hope never to see you again in my life,” Olivia said, taking her suitcase and walking away from me.
I wanted to run and hug her, tell her how sorry I was, I wanted to take her hand and run away together to a place where no one would ever find us again. I wanted to say so many things to her, but instead, I just watched her disappear into the rain.
“Damn it,” I said, kicking the car's tire.
I got into the car and started driving quickly in the direction Olivia had gone, but I didn’t find her.
I drove around the same block at least five times trying to find her, but I didn’t see her. I gave up and drove back to my apartment.
