I stared at him for a few seconds, searching for the slightest hint that he was joking, but he had the same excited expression as before.
"You're joking, right? I haven't even signed anything," I laughed. "How can I be the general manager?"
"It's true," he smiled at me. "I still need your signature to officially appoint you as the general manager. We can do it right now, I can call my lawyer." He took his phone out of his pocket.
"Ivan, I really appreciate everything you've done. Seriously, I'm so grateful, but you haven't even told me what your company does. I don't know what you do here," I said, and he smiled at me.
"That won't be a problem. I thought you could handle the international operations. When I need to close a contract, you'll be the one to sign," he said very calmly.
