Chapter 56I called Phil to check in. He was still at Lincoln Way and put me on speaker phone…Eric was with him.
“Where's everyone else?” I asked.
Eric answered, “They went home so they could get some sleep.” He sounded tired and in need of sleep himself. “Wish Phil would do the same.”
Phil replied, “Hey, man, we got some big problems we need to deal with.”
“Phil, they aren't going anywhere, they'll be there tomorrow.” Eric sounded exasperated. Phil can be very persistent, and Eric is his go-to guy when he wants help doing research or whatever.
