‎Victor’s POV ‎Immediately Alice makes that statement, I freeze. Completely. ‎I am the last person who saw her dad before I came to the hospital. ‎“Maybe he went somewhere…” I say, but even to my own ears, the reassurance sounds weak. ‎“I’ve called his phone. It keeps going straight to voicemail,” Alice says, her voice trembling. “I even called some of his friends.
