Five I walked out of the surgery room three hours later, which was five hours after my shift should have ended. In the waiting room, I saw that Eagle had Crow’s girlfriend in his lap. MK’s eyes were open but vacant. Eagle’s hand stroked across her back where her b*a strap would be. The others were similarly seated together, holding one another close and offering support.
