“You have been rewarded with the latest model of the limited edition Lamborghini Aventador, seventy percent of Stars Wave entertainment shares, ten million dollars, one thousand system points, one reversal talisman, one physique training art, and battle skill. In addition, there are two lucky draws which you can use to draw lots for either techniques, weapons, treasures, or skills. Do you want to cash it out?”
Alvin didn't hear the rest of what the system said. He only registered the Lamborghini before the Stars Wave entertainment shares struck him dumb.
Stars Wave entertainment was the third biggest entertainment agency in the country and ranks top five in the entire continent. Getting signed to such a company that raised legendary musicians, actors and models was once a dream which he didn't dare to indulge in. But he was casually gifted seventy percent of the shares. Doesn't that make him the majority shareholder? Starswave, that behemoth was now his? He now owned the third biggest record label in the country?
His heart was beating erratically as he considered it, and blood immediately rushed to his brain. With a legend like Stars Wave entertainment under him, becoming the top musician would no longer be a pipe dream.
CJ entertainment? Bullshit! Starswave entertainment could easily squash CJ entertainment which Fred Coleman once relied on to bully him, steal his songs, and brutally oppress him. Revenge aside, it could give him the leverage to get signed under the legendary record label. With seventy percent shares, it was literally his own, he could simply sign himself to the company.
Leah nearly crashed into him because he suddenly stopped walking, making her and the others carrying the bags behind them nearly collide into one another.
“Do you want to cash them out now?” The system asked again, jogging his mind.
“Um, just cash out the Lamborghini for easier transportation. And if possible, I would appreciate a driver's license.” Alvin quickly replied.
“Is that all?” The system asked, and beeped twice.
“Of course. That will be all for now.”
Alvin naturally had his own reasons for taking the car along. Although it was satisfying to face slap people after they look down on him, he had no time for such s**t. People address you the way you dress. Intentionally dressing like a bum to face slap people was setting a trap for them. And he had no time or desire to waste precious time with irrelevant people. Since he could avoid drama by looking good, why should he invite one? With his new identity, too much drama will attract unwanted attention, which would affect his future or hamper his chances of getting revenge.
However, if someone was blind enough to still attack him even after his meticulous efforts to be inconspicuous, he would let them have a taste of pain, and a fate worse than death.
“Big brother, what's wrong? Are you alright? Why did you stop?” Leah whispered, pulling on his sleeves.
The question was one which all the others equally wanted to ask him. Did he forget something? Why was his facial expression changing like one in deep thoughts? If they didn't know better, they would have thought he was discussing something important with a ghost.
Alvin turned around and saw the people with him, watching him curiously as if he was a specimen from outer space. He grinned at him, realizing that he exposed himself.
“Young master, is there a problem?” The manager who was also with them asked.
“No, I was listening to something.” He answered with a smile, making them even more confused than ever.
“There's a micro chip attached to my ear. I can listen to urgent messages through it.” Alvin quickly added. But the doubts on their faces remained.
He quickly reached into his ear and picked off a chip the color of his skin which the system had conveniently placed there.
“See? Others can't see it because it's the color of my skin.” Alvin said with a charming smile and placed it back.
The adoration in their hearts soared once again as they watched the smiling man before them who seemed like he was full of mysteries. Leah immediately smiled and nodded, not doubting a single word.
He continued on his way and finally let out a breath which he didn't realize he had been holding. The presence of the miraculous system was a big secret, one which must not be discovered by the rest of the world. The knowledge of such a powerful cheat system would set off a series of earth shattering battles. Even billionaires will join in the fight, hoping to kill him and take away the system. It doesn't matter if it doesn't work that way, they would do it anyway.
“The car has been parked before the entrance. The car key, driver's license, and car purchase documents are all on the driver's seat. It would open automatically when you go close to it since it's connected to the system.”
Alvin grunted in reply and got on the escalator which took him down. He walked out of the entrance and the security guards at the entrance bowed to him with eyes full of respect, probably due to the staff, and most especially, the manager who personally escorted them down.
Alvin came out and looked around. A car beeped at the edge of the front door parking lot, making him turn towards it.
It was a Rosso Ephesus Lamborghini Aventador, the most expensive of all the limited editions.
“That's the one.” The system affirmed.
Alvin walked to the car with sure steps and touched the car. The car doors rose on their own, and he quickly moved the documents into the glove compartment and picked up the key and driver license.
He turned to call Leah and saw everyone watching him with mouth open.
“Leah, what are you waiting for, get in the car. Aren't you hungry?”
The staff rushed to them and quickly arranged the numerous shopping bags on the back seat of the car.
“We look forward to your next visit.” The manager said and turned around, leaving without a backward glance.
“Big brother, where did the car come from? We didn't come with a car.” Leah whispered stubbornly, refusing to enter the car.
‘This brat, is she accusing me of theft?’
