Alexander got to the office that morning, he called Linda to his office and told her to direct Lily in once she comes, he took his phone and dialed her number, her voice came through the speaker, he told her to come to the office and she immediately sounded happy, he smiled when he heard her rushing her words and thanking him, it felt good to hear her voice, he needs to put himself inorder, he thought, he did some work while he waited for her.

Alexander heard a knock on the door, come in, he said, she walked in, her head facing down, she closed the door and turned to face him, then slowly raised her head, she looked surprised, she looked at him puzzled. Hello Miss Lily, please have a sit, he said, as if pulled from her trance, she stuttered, hi, I'm sorry for just staring, I've seen you before, yesterday at the elevator, Lily said as she sat in one of the chairs facing Alexander, completely getting a good look at his face, he looked really familiar and really good looking she thought to herself, is that the only time you've seen me, Alexander asked hoping she would remember, Lily thought for a bit, yes sir, I think so, although your face did look familiar yesterday she answered, I was the one who rushed you to the hospital when u fainted on the road and almost got hit by my driver, Alexander said, the look on Lily face when she heard that, the memory became clear, oh my god, you're the good samaritan, she blurted out long, thank you so much for that day, when I woke up, I was told you were gone and I couldn't even see you and thank you properly, you even paid for my hospital bills, I'm truly grateful, thank you, Lily said with sincerity. Alexander smiled, you're welcome, just glad I could help, I saw you yesterday and the receptionist said you came for a job so I decided to call you instead, so what jobs have you done in the past, he asked her.

Lily felt ashamed answering, she hasn't had a proper job since graduation, she worked at a super market for two months until her boss started giving her the ick, so she stopped, she hasn't really been able to get a job since then, honestly sir, I haven't been able to get a job since I graduated, most of the places I try are never really looking for a worker, she answered, oh well then, what position do you feel you fit in and can do very well in Alexander asked, whichever position I'm put in is fine by me sir, I can do whatever I'm asked to do and I'm a fast learner so you won't have to worry about me not catching up quickly, Lily said, hoping he could give her anything, even a cleaner sounds nice, as long as she has a job. Alexander cleared his throat and looked like he was in thought, ok, you'll work as my personal assistant, I'll have Derick teach you all the things you need to know, you'll have to be with me all the time and make sure I meet up all my schedules, can you do that he asked her, holy s**t, Lily screamed in her mind, yes sir, I can, thank you very much, you won't regret this, thank you so much, Lily said smiling ear to ear, very well then, you'll start on Monday, Alexander told her, alright sir, thank you Lily said as she stood up, she walked to the door, opened it, thank you once again sir, she said as she closed the door behind her, Alexander sat there smiling, he couldn't help himself, her being happy made him happy.

Lily couldn't wait to tell Amber, she still couldn't believe how lucky she was, she was barely even interviewed and just like that, the job was hers, finally she was going to start working, she couldn't wait till Monday. When Amber came home later that evening, she broke the good news to her, Amber was so happy for her, she told her how the person that rushed her to the hospital turns out to be the boss, Amber kept giggling and saying that it could be fate, she kept asking if he was hot so she'd start making arrangements for their wedding, Lily just laughed at how delusional she was, they ordered pizza to celebrate, after eating, they both went to sleep, Lily could finally sleep properly knowing she now has a job.

The next day was Sunday, they both cleaned the apartment and went for Sunday brunch, it was a traditional, every Sunday they go to their favorite restaurant and order their favorite meals and just yap about their weekends and life in general, but Amber was mostly the one doing the yapping, Lily just listened and gave her response. They had a great time and then went home. Lily was in the living room watching TV when Amber walked in, sooo, since you're starting your job tomorrow, I want to make sure you're looking professional and sexy, here, she handed Lily a cooperate suit and skirt, awwn Ambs you didn't have to, I was going to wear one of my sleeves and pants, Lily said, no no darling, you need to look sophisticated, I want your colleagues to ball their eyes out when they see you Amber said smiling, thank you Ambs, really, it's beautiful, you're welcome my sweet Amber said, they hugged each other and Lily kissed Amber on the cheek, you sweetie pie, they chuckled.

Monday finally came, and Lily couldn't be happier, she finally had a job, she dressed up and got there really early, waiting to be assigned something to do. A man dressed in black suit looking clean and smart walked up to her, he introduced himself as Derick and he was going to be teaching her all she needed to know, he showed her to her desk and gave her some documents to fill and go over, she started working and everything was easy, she was still working when a pretty girl with brown hair walked up to her smiling, hi I'm Simone, she said holding her hand out for Lily to shake, Lily took her hand, I'm Lily, she said, nice to meet you, she said still smiling, same here, Lily replied, the girl was really pretty, she had brown eyes that were the exact color of her hair, her skin were pale white, she was slim, like a model, Lily couldn't believe she was actually here talking to her, we're going for lunch later, do you wanna join, she asked Lily, yeah sure, Lily told her, alright, I'll see you later, she said as she walked away, Lily was happy, the people were nice, I mean, some of them, and it's going well so far, there isn't much to do.

Lunch time came and Lily joined Simone and the rest of her colleagues, they all introduced themselves, they seemed nice, she was really glad she get to work with them, they ate, laughed, talked about work stuff, they all told Lily how scary their boss was which got her confused cause the man she met that day was actually calm and nice, well she only met him for the interview though so maybe she hadn't seen his scary side yet and she hoped she wouldn't have to. After lunch, they all headed back to the office, Lily was done with the documents Derick had given her, she was arranging them to go give to him when everywhere went quiet as if a ghost had passed, she was shocked, she looked up to see the reason, the scary boss was here, his presence demanded silence, he walked passed the hallway, till he got to his office, Lily didn't understand why they were so scared if him, they even had to stop talking, it wasn't until his office door was shut that everyone started to breathe again.

Lily grabbed the documents and headed to Derick's office, he wasn't there so she left them on his desk and walked back to her desk, she sat down, thinking of something to do, she was still thinking when her office phone rang, she picked up and his voice came through, come into my office, and the call ended, she was suddenly nervous, why was she nervous, she stood up and walked to the door.
