Galena peered around herself tentatively sniffing as if hoping to catch a scent of her mate.
‘You can’t smell him’ her wolf Gail growled in annoyance, ‘you rejected him remember?’
The she wolf huffed, ‘I was trying to protect us’ she grumbled back, ‘and I didn’t see you begging me to go back to him’ she added.
Gail rolled her eyes, ‘because I didn’t know that he was broken, I thought he was cruel’ she yapped, waving her tail sassily.
‘Well so did I’ Galena replied tartly, ‘hence why I rejected him, now I know what he did to protect Archer . . I think I should at least talk to him.’
The she wolf nodded in her human’s head, ‘yes, talk to mate, see who he really is’ she agreed.
‘Gail, he isn’t our mate anymore’ the doctor warned, trying to keep her wolf on track.
