Stumbling into the clinic nearly a year later, Archer fell onto the perfectly cleaned examination bed, holding his side with a grimace as blood flowed through his fingers. Galena turned back from the table, eyeing the Alpha with a derisive snort, ‘what did you do this time?’ she demanded, as she grabbed everything she needed to clean and stitch the wound. ‘Bumped into a fallen tree?’ Archer replied with a weak smile.
