Rowan hoisted the Alpha back on to his shoulder, grumbling loudly about how they were putting him out before growling out, ‘which way father time?’ Trying not to laugh, Archer pointed toward his home, one of the women mimicking the gesture to Rowan so he could see it. Beckoning impatiently, Rowan started out, the group of Rogues following behind him, the leader caught up with the teenager, falling into step beside him, her long black hair swinging down her back in a thick plait. ‘So how long have you and the Alpha known each other?’ she asked curiously. ‘About two hours’ the warrior replied with a grimace as Archer chuckled, Rogue’s who don’t listen seemed to be a common theme. ‘It’s been a whirlwind of a friendship’ the Alpha chimed in, ‘so what is your name, we never actually asked.
