It had been a late night so when I didn't get up on time this morning I wasn't at all surprised.
I hated not being on time but I wouldn't change my night with Isaac for anything.
Although I couldn't help but feel bad for not telling Isaac the truth about me. I felt this urge to tell him and let him know who I really was. There was still a side of me that wanted to keep it all a secret. I had promised myself when I left that life behind that I wouldn't tell anyone as Rosalie Parker was the new me. I was still the same Person just a different name and different past.
I know I've already told Audrey and there is nothing stopping her from telling anyone else. If I can trust her surely I can trust her grandson who seems to be the person I'm closest to apart from Lilly.
Could I trust him or would he go running for the hills? I didn't see him as that type of person though
If I told him that I was really princess Arabella then I would basically be asking him to lie as well. He would have to keep my identity from everyone. That wouldn't be fair of me to do.
I arrived at school only half hour late and this time I wasn't bothered at all. I suppose the not wanting to attract attention phase is over. That was just me being paranoid anyway.
"How come your so late?" Kate asked me once I sat next to her in science
I turned my head to the back of the class to notice one seat empty. Isaac was missing but robin and Lucas sat there calmly. I didn't think much of it.
"I over slept" I told her
"How did you manage that? Don't you go to bed like super early or something" she mocked
"Yeah something like that" I replied
"Fancy coming out later? Me, you and the other two?"
"Sure okay"
By the time lunch rolled around I was pretty much ready to go home. It had been a tiring day although nothing really seemed to be happening.
"Where's Isaac?" Kate asked
Each of the boys looked at each other before Jacob answered
"I don't know"
Was he lying?
"I suppose he's off a lot anyway" Kate stated shrugging but I wasn't convinced
"Kate..." began robin as he looked at her warningly "just leave it" he whispered
With that Kate didn't utter another word about Isaac and soon they all found themselves talking about food. It really wasn't like Kate to he quiet about something she wanted to discuss and usually if she was told to stop then she would purposely carry on.
Something was going on but I couldn't figure out what.
When leaving the canteen I quickly caught up to Jacob. Out of the three boys the one I would most likely want to confront was Lucas as he seemed the most level headed but it appeared Jacob was my only option since Lucas disappeared. At least it wasn't robin.
"What's up?" He asked
"Where's Isaac? Don't even try to pretend you don't know where he is, your acting sadly isn't that good"
He looked down at me with a hardened face as his eyes shot daggers
"I'm surprised you don't know when you spent all night with him" he snarled at me angrily
The tone in his voice made me slightly nervous, I've never heard Jacob so aggressive. He quickly turned and walked away leaving me in my place.
I noticed a few girls staring at me with wide eyes. What the heck were they looking at?
"What?!" I barked
The three girls quickly walked away with out saying anything back.
That was weird
Perhaps I was thinking too much in to this Isaac situation, he was most likely fine and would be back in school tomorrow. His friends were just uptight.
Last lesson soon began and ended before I found myself finally home.
I had just jumped in to my big comfy bed that had been calling me since I entered the house when my phone started ringing
"Hello?"
"Hello Kate"
"I'll be coming round to yours in 30 minutes, don't be late again"
"Ugh, alright see you soon"
"Bye rose"
If I was being honest that I had forgot I agreed to go out with the girls. I guess I needed to spend as much time with them as possible since soon it would be over.
I wonder what every one will think when I leave, I'm going to have to explain to them who I am. I hope they all forgive me.
I guess I will face that challenge when it arrives
I was just about ready when I heard a car beep outside, I shouted goodbye to Lilly before joining the others. Kate and Olivia sat in the front while I joined Harriet in the back.
"Where are we going to?" I asked
"We was thinking shopping since there might be a party coming up, plus there's nothing else really to do" told me
"Okay great"
We arrived at the shopping centre and all huddled inside beginning our trip.
"Oo look at this" Kate gasped
It was a low neck black strap dress with no back.
"This is to die for" agreed Olivia
"It's definitely your colour" stated Harriet, Kate was always wearing black, the lightest colour she wore was grey
"It'll look good on you" I told her
"I'm going to go try it on" Kate smiled before heading out of sight.
Harriet, Olivia and I carried on looking through the racks of clothes when I noticed a burgundy dress.
It was tight fitted at the top and had a lace back with the a gap which would expose my skin at the bottom of my back. The skirt part was flowing and was slightly shorter at the front then grew at the back. It was one of the prettiest dresses I've ever seen.
"What do you guys think?" I asked them
"Wow, that's gorgeous" Harriet told me
"It would look amazing on you" Olivia complimented
I nodded and grabbed my size, there was no change I was leaving that there.
Suddenly Kate came charging towards us but she didn't look happy
"Did it fit okay?" I asked
"Why didn't you tell us?" She demanded
Harriet and Olivia turned to look at us confused
"W-what you on about?" I stuttered
My nerves were growing dramatically as I waited for her to answer. Did she find out?
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. How could you keep that from us? I can't believe you didn't tell us" she huffed very annoyed
"I can explain..."
