The past couple of days have been hectic. After Jacob and I met with Ben, we got to work implementing new protocols and safety measures.
Tonight we will host the Mate Ball. Everyone has been busy preparing for tonight. Hailey will be occupied most of the day, as she is receiving the guests staying in the pack house and showing them to their assigned rooms.
She came to my room last night to relieve some tension, but when I woke up in the morning, she was gone.
I like to believe that she left early because of her duties, but I know better.
Hailey is still avoiding me. She avoids conversation at any cost, and I haven't had a moment to find her and reassure her somehow.
