I am brought out of a peaceful and needed rest, by a dull throbbing in my head.
I shut my link off when I was dragging Kira out of my office.
By the consistent throbbing, I can tell someone is deliberately trying to break through. Kira is sound asleep on my right arm, which is resting under her head.
I know how much energy she exerted during the fight and once we got to my bedroom. So, I am trying not to disrupt her, when I slide my arm from underneath her.
I sit up on the side of the bed, before opening the link.
As soon as I open the link, Jacob's voice pops in my head. 'Alpha, I am sorry to disturb you, but the elders and councilmen are eager to continue the discussion you were all having. They are threatening to come to your door.'
