In the dimly lit room, the cry of a baby suddenly filled the air, causing the man to furrow his brows impatiently. He slammed the book he was holding onto the table and turned to the woman who was holding the child.
"Why is he crying again? Didn't we just feed him formula?!"
Lucy quickly cradled the baby, offering an awkward smile. "Maybe he's not used to the new environment, that's why he keeps crying. A little comforting should do the trick. By the way, I heard you went to Arthur Group today?"
The man looked at her. "Tomorrow, there will be a new shareholders' meeting, and James will be kicked out of Arthur Group and Star City. With all the unfinished projects and the withdrawal of Miller Group and other cooperating companies, the shareholders have no choice but to replace James."
