In a throne room located in the palace of Chamole  where the king  of  Greylan ruled, many men were shouting at one another in the midst of all this was the king himself, king Horwich the fifth. King Horwich was adorned in his grey robe with gold lacing, he wore a cape made from a blood wolf’s hide it’s color making it seem as though it was just dyed in blood, on his head rested a crown made of countless precious materials, he gave of an aura fit for a king.   He listened to his ministers discuss and come up with ways to deal with the invasion of the Drakon empire. Some of his advisers had warned him earlier on but with the majority on the continent he thought with the Drakon empire’s territory, their fears were baseless but he was wrong.   *Boom*suddenly the huge doors that made up the entrance to the throne room were pushed with such force they swung open, all the ministers and king collectively became quiet waiting to see who dared to disturb their meeting. “FATHER!” a booming voice broke the silence and enlightened everyone as to who had barged in, it was none other than the crown prince, prince Adonis Horwich.   Adonis was a fit man with muscles of perfect proportion and a face that seemed to be carved by the gods themselves with raven black hair, it was no wonder all the court ladies seemed to be infatuated with him. He wore armor made of black steel which had been carved to reveal a wolf on his chest, the wolf was the symbol of the Greylan kingdom, the wolf was representing the main god of worship to the people of the Greylan empire, Fenrir it was believed the first king was blessed by the wolf god himself and with that blessing founded the Greylan kingdom. He wore a cloak made from the hide of a winter wolf.   “what is this I hear of our borders being invaded by those lizards huh father, I say we march over there and show them the might of the kingdom, show them how sharp the teeth of a wolf are.” The prince barged in and spoke his mind, giving no respect whatsoever to the ministers present “watch your tone with me boy! You have no idea of the rulings of a kingdom all you think of is war and women, do you know how many men the enemy has…” the prince interrupted his father, “it matters not how many knights those lizards posses, for each knight of our kingdom can fight twenty of theirs.”   “you said it yourself father, the best defense is a strong offense.” “and I have told you countless times a wise king does not actively seek out war.” The king spoke up determined to put some sense into his son’s head.   “so you would rather wait for our enemies to invade and divide up our lands. Father you have fallen you are no longer the brave and fearless wolf who inspired fear in our enemies but an old senile dog! If o was king…” gasps were heard from all the ministers present. “BUT YOU ARE NOT. I. AM. KING!” the king in a fit of rage grabbed his spear, Amaruq which had followed him through countless battles and slammed its butt into the ground causing a shockwave, the ministers who began to murmur were silenced some ministers fell on their butt and the prince was sent two steps back. “Have you forgotten who it is you are speaking to boy? Leave! I do not want to see you for the remainder of the day!” the king spoke and no one dared to go against him, it was then that they all remembered that this king was a blood thirsty wolf himself who had stepped over countless corpses to reach where he was today.   Prince Adonis did not dare to go against his father and left in a huff, in his absence the conversation resumed. Outside the throne room Adonis was angry as he could not understand why his father did not agree with him, he did not believe that the mighty wolves of Greylan would loose to those lizards pretending to be dragons.   “I take it I was right, father refused your request,” A voice came from behind a pillar. A youth in armor similar to Adonis’ appeared with a cloak made from the hide of a snow wolf, he had a handsome face with a slight stubble under his chin, his long raven black hair reaching his shoulder, his face and appearance gave him an innocent trustworthy look.   “Anwir, you were right father does not see what we do.” Adonis spoke to the man who was none other than his brother “I told you already father has long forgotten the harshness of the battlefield and is content with his throne… but then again I could be wrong and maybe he sees something we don’t” Anwir came closer to his brother who was still angry with their father. “I stand by my word and say father is wrong and he will realize that too late.”   “well even if you are right brother you need an army, and shame there is nothing you can do about that.” Anwir spoke whilst looking somewhere, Adonis followed his gaze and saw his legion training below and an idea popped into his head “maybe there is…” he took another look at them before marching off, Anwir shouted after him “don’t do anything stupid” with a look of concern.   “when have I ever?” was all Adonis said before he disappeared, with his disappearance, the look on Anwir’s  face changed into a smirk “too easy.”
