HAVEN I've been thinking a lot about what Nixx said about testing out my speed. It's something I really want to do and I'm planning on trying it out later, once we part ways with Kai and Maya. "I think I've got a bar!" Maya says from a spot near a tree. I scurry to my feet and rush to where she is. Signal, finally. Thank goodness, I just hope I'll be able to send a quick text before the small luck decides to run out. I take out my phone and stand close to Maya who is seated on the ground, leaning against the big tree. One network bar appears on my phone and I whisper an excited yes. I type out a message to my mother. Me: Hi mom, you're probably worrying right now because you couldn't reach me the whole day, I just want to let you know that I'm doing okay and I'll call you tomorrow,
