Chloe’s POV
“Open up Flynn, we’re just going to check to see what’s in your mouth okay?” A female nurse tried convincing Flynn, who actually fell for it. She etched closer to him in my arms, and then she had a torch shun into his mouth and began her examination.
Right after that, they had his vital signs checked, and in a couple of minutes it was all a wrap. I stayed in the hospital ward bed, with Flynn still curled up in my arms as I rocked and hummed him a tone trying to put him to sleep.
I ran my hands down his sweater, and then gave him a soft peck on the forehead just when he had his eyes shut.
