Lucas’s POV It was almost as if I’d heard wrong but then all I could do was look away. I could also tell from her already reddened cheeks that she’d found that obviously embarrassing. The slight ping of my phone snapped my attention away from her as I stared at the screen wondering what it was. My phone vibrating in my hand, alerts me to the fact that my peace has very quickly come to an end. I glare at the phone long and hard, wanting to ruin the person that ruin my peaceful morning.
