Chloe’s POV It took a moment for me to register exactly who was in front of me. The dark, artfully styled hair. The stubble shading his chin and chiseled jaw. Surprisingly this time he had on a tortoise shell glass that framed his face perfectly. But it was those eyes—-ones that for some reason made my heart trip and pick up its pace as I immediately recognized his sharp, angular features.
