Mia's POV:
“We’re going to get started on building your stamina. Endurance training; you’re going to be running around and then with weights. Jace is going to help you build endurance.” Jaxon explained. Jace threw me a two-finger salute.
“Really? I'm starting with Jace, again?” I asked.
“Is that complaint I hear?” Jace asked, lifting his eyebrows at me.
I shook my head. “No, not at all. I'm just saying for a change, I'd like to have someone else teach me. You're not a bad teacher, Jace. But I want someone else to teach me.” I explained.
Jace put his hand to his chest and exhaled dramatically. “Skies, my heart's been shattered into a billion pieces,” he said, shutting his eyes and lowering to his knees.
“Jace…” I called.
