Claire POV
I stared at my best friend and sister in law. “Victoria, are you really saying we should…?”
Was she saying we should really try to kill Amelia? Murder the Luna of our pack?
Victoria laughed. “Of course not. We don’t even know where she is! Although, if worse comes to worse, it may be something we need to consider.”
Once I got over the shock of that statement, I realized I didn’t feel as bad about the idea as I initially thought. If Amelia was dead, it really would solve all our problems.
“What I meant was, why don’t we just tell people she’s dead? She ran away, after all. It’s not like she’s likely to come strolling back home.”
Tears forgotten, I considered this new plan. I had wanted to erase Amelia from existence in Damien’s house when I rushed over there in my panic. T
