Amelia POV The security guard hurried away from us, and I felt my chest tightening. I couldn’t breath, couldn’t seem to stop the ragged gasps coming out of my mouth. I was having a panic attack. “Amelia, look at me.” Lillian held my shoulders and waited for me to focus on her face. “There is no way - no way - I’m going to let anything happen to you. We’re going to get you out of here, okay?” I focused on her eyes, so calm and confident. I hadn’t known her very long, but realized in this moment how completely I trusted her. I felt the tightness ease, and finally drew in a deeper breath as I nodded. “Good. Now, don’t worry.
