Damien’s POV A girl. We were having a little girl! My heart soared and my wolf could hardly sit still inside of me. In my excitement, I moved closer to Amelia. She was looking back at me, mirroring my happiness. Her eyes also held a kind of raw hope that nearly knocked me flat. She wanted something from me. Acceptance perhaps? Couldn’t she see that she already had it? Couldn’t she know that I was excited about our little girl? Maybe not. Perhaps this was where our failing lied in the past.
