If there was one things I had learned these past few days from watching Amelia after she returned from Damien’s pack, it was that she had no idea how amazing she was. Or, at least, she had been fiercely unwilling to accept the full credit for her accomplishments all on her own.
Even after Healer Eve assured her that she had done enough to deserve all the good that had been coming her way, Amelia still seemed consistently shocked by it.
