Amelia’s POV When Jake and his family returned that evening, Cara must have told him that Sienna had stopped by to talk to me, because Jake immediately came to talk to me. “What did she say?” he asked, sitting on the side of my bed. I hadn’t been asleep, hadn’t been able to. He must have seen my light. I couldn’t tell him the truth, not without putting him in danger.
